Trust Seal displaying Pagerank
There are a lot of Tools within the internet that allow webmasters to display their PageRank(TM) on a website without the need of a Google Toolbar. Starting today Webmasters have the opertunity to have their homepage rank displayed within the Trust Seal.
PageRank is a trademark of Google(TM), so the only one who is able to tell something about a PageRank is Google. A lot of webmasters with a low rank include a lot of "free" tools into their website all displaying a Rank (and they should all display the same, as there is only one). That is done because people hope to get backlink in exchange of displaying the meter (with a link!) on their site. If you dug deeper into their terms and conditions, you will find out that they are only backlinking a fraction of their some ten thousands of linking sites. Do not let your site look like the control panel of a nuclear power plant. They might need a lot of meters, your site doesn't!
